CFI Membership:
Every participant in a CFI program receives a complimentary family membership good until May of the following calendar year. You can also join at any time to receive our other membership benefits (see below). Since tuition and fees for children's' programs cover only 65% to 75% of their operating cost, membership dues help the Field Institute bridge the gap, keeping the doors open and the work-lights burning throughout our program year.
Membership categories are:
- Student: $15
- Individual: $30
- Family: $50
- Supporting or Business: $100
- Sustaining $250
- The Plateau Society: $500 or above
- Corporate Sponsor: $2,500
- Westwater Society: $5,000+ in planned giving
Member Benefits and Discounts
All members receive:
- 10% discounts on CFI programs and merchandise, up to $20 per program.
- Advance program calendar notices.
- Use of CFI's naturalist library for Four Corners residents.
- Invitations to community events in your area.
- Family members extend their benefits to all members of the family or business.

Plateau Society members receive the benefits above plus:
* 3 gift memberships to give to friends
* 10% discount on CFI trips
* Invitation to CFI Special Trips on the Colorado Plateau
Corporate Sponsors who give $2,500/year for three years towards Student Programs sponsorships receive all above benefits plus a 1 day guided hike or van tour for up to 12 people with lunch.
