Colorado River from Loma, Colorado to Westwater Ranger Station, Utah

2-3 night tour.

Great for Families, Adults and Groups.

Minimum 6 people - Ages 6 and up - Contact Us for pricing.

Dramatic Red Sandstone towers rise above you as we float this dramatic river canyon. Camp in tents or under the stars while hearing stories and learning about Colorado River geology, history and animal life from our instructor/guides. After a day of fresh air, sun and a splashing good time, you'll enjoy our delicious dutch oven cuisine and have time to explore, read and socialize. Special nature art and games are planned for the kids. Our small group size, involvement of all in river camp life and the enthusiasm, knowledge and skill of our licensed naturalist-guides assure an unforgettable experience.

Nature of River Rafting. We will be in rafts between 14 and 18 feet long and in stable, inflatable kayaks affectionately called "duckies". Our participants are encouraged to learn to read the river, take a turn at the oars and certainly paddle the duckies solo or as a duo.

Our custom River tours usually begin with a hotel stay and trip orientation in Grand Junction, Colorado. The next morning we'll head for the put-in at Loma and begin our 26 mile, river trip that ends at Westwater Ranger Station on the last day. We will return you to Grand Junction by 5 PM to complete our unforgettable tour.

First Timers Welcome and Encouraged. This is a perfect family tour that will be a gentle interaction with the outdoors. Time will be set aside for those who need to learn camping basics. Call if you have questions regarding the nature of the activity and comfort. A relaxed outing offering plenty of time for kids' adventuring, hikes, games, water play. This is an all around good time!

This section can be combined with Westwater Canyon for a longer trip with exciting Class I-IV rapids the last day!
